4th grade students who participated in an optional reading assignment were treated to a game of Fast Break as a reward.
3B students played an intense game of HORSE against Officer Jackie and Mrs. Helmuth as a reward for winning the "Tuesday Trivia" contest! It was a split decision with 3B winning one game and Officer Jackie winning another! 🏀🏀
2B students have been learning about measurement through measuring the mass and length of solids. Students discovered that just because an object has a longer length doesn’t necessarily mean it will have a larger mass!
State leaders recognized educators from 241 schools with scores of 95% or above on the 2023 administration of the IREAD assessment at a ceremony at the Indiana Statehouse on Thursday, February 15. Meadowview Elementary was proud to be honored at this ceremony, with a pass rate of 96.7%. Due to the cancellation of school on January 23rd, school at Westview School Corporation will be held on Monday, February 19th, which is our next makeup day. The regular Monday schedule will be followed.
If your child will be 5 years old by August 1, 2024, and is not pre-enrolled, the pre-enrollment steps for kindergarten are as follows: 1. Contact the school of residence to obtain a pre-enrollment form Shipshewana 768-4158 Topeka 593-2897 Meadowview 768-7702 2. Return the enrollment form to the school as soon as possible 3. Parents will receive a SEEK Screening schedule in the Spring 4. SEEK Screening will be at the student’s school of residence near the end of the 23-24 school year. Out-of-district parents should contact the school they wish to enroll their child.

4th grade students participated in Super Bowl Monday the day after the Super Bowl. Students completed a variety of math and English and reading activities that were all football themed. The snacks and decorations caught the students' attention right away! It was a perfect review for upcoming NWEA tests.
