Kindergarten students celebrated Grinch Day by dressing up like characters from the story or wearing green. Students completed various activities throughout the day including crafts, STEM projects, mystery pictures, and played bingo!
1A students read "The Biggest Christmas Tree Ever" and got to create their own Christmas trees. The exciting part.. their trees were edible!
KD brought the most items for our Meadowview Food Drive in November. They celebrated their win today with root beer floats and a special read aloud from Mr. Graber.

Kindergarten students concluded their nocturnal unit with a day full of learning. Students participated in the dissection of owl pellets, STEM projects, guided drawings, read alouds, games, and a fun bat themed snack!

Who doesn't love some science and some candy corn? Well, not everyone loves to eat candy corn, but 4th graders in 4C loved using them in a science experiment. Students started the scientific process by making a hypothesis about what they thought would happen. Pieces of candy corn were placed into a variety of liquids (hot water, mouthwash, etc.) and students made observations about what happened to the candy corn.
Westview will host a Ronald McDonald Care Mobile Wellness Event on Wednesday, December 11th, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Appointments are required.
More Red Ribbon fun from today! Students walked along the "Meadowview Walk of Fame" and completed physical/mental brain breaks. As students left school, they received movie star treatment and were able to "walk the red carpet!"

Mrs. Springer, MES school nurse, visited with the class of KD and talked about germs and the importance of hand washing. The students favorite part was being a “germ detective” at the end!

Meadowview had their first Fitness Friday of the year walking together in grade level groups on a beautiful, hot day! Fitness Friday is one way we meet our Wellness Goals by promoting healthy habits--walking! Great job Meadowview students and staff!! Mr. Graber also redeemed himself and came up with the win in today's race!
