This week's All-Star Spotlight has been shining on the wonderful Chelsea Miller! Chelsea is currently one of our kindergarten teachers.
Chelsea is a Scottie through and through! She attended SES for elementary school and has now been a teacher here for 2 years! Along with being an amazing teacher, Chelsea also enjoys ceramics, hiking, and baking. When asked why she loves Shipshe-Scott, Chelsea said:
"I love the way the staff comes together to support each other and our students. I also love seeing the growth the kids make. The kids grow up so fast and being able to see and be a part of that really feels like a blessing."
Thanks for everything you do, Mrs. Miller!!

On Wednesday we celebrated our 100th day of school! Some students chose to dress like they were 100 years old, dress like it was 100 degrees outside, or dress like both! We also had many teachers incorporate the number 100 into their lessons.

Our Blues Buster Day yesterday was for students to dress like teachers...and for teachers to dress like students!!

Last week the students had fun at recess playing out in the snow! We are looking forward to some warmer temps next week so we can get back out there!
Our All-Star Spotlight shines on Maryah Bontrager this week! Maryah is one of our kindergarten assistants.
Maryah may have just started working at Shipshe-Scott this year, but she has already become a pro at working with our little ones! Outside of school, Maryah makes blankets and loves to spend time outdoors! Here's what she had to say about why she loves Shipshe-Scott:
"I love all the kindness that is shown by everyone!"
Thanks for all you do, Miss Bontrager!
