Our All-Star Spotlight shines on Melinda Brown this week! Melinda is one of our 3rd grade teachers.
Melinda has been part of our Shipshe-Scott crew for 26 years. She loves to scrapbook and work in her flower gardens. Here is what she had to say about why she loves Shipshe-Scott:

Buddy was really working hard this morning in preparation for Chirstmas next week!
A little late with day 4 of Buddy the Elf! So much was going on yesterday and Buddy thought it would be the perfect time for a snowball fight!

Westview Families reminder: Westview will be on break from December 21st through January 6th. January 6th is a Professional Development Day for staff. No students.

This week the 4th graders read, How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Friday the students participated in a mock trial: The Grinch vs. Who-ville! Thank you to our judges, Mrs. Garber, Mrs. Hostetler and Mr. Marin.
Popcorn Pick-up Information:
If you are picking up your popcorn orders today, please drive up to door #1 and we will bring your order to you. If you are picking up your child in the car rider line, you will do so at door #4 as usual, then you will need to get in the line at door #1 for your popcorn. Popcorn pick-up is for orders of 6 or more items.
Popcorn pick-up starts at 2:30pm! We are not able to start any eariler than that.

Don't forget! Orders of 6+ popcorn items or orders with popcorn tins MUST be picked up from Shipshe-Scott on Friday, December 13th from 2:30-3:30pm. Orders of 5 or fewer will go home with your child. Thank you!!
Last Thursday our 3rd and 4th graders performed their Christmas program, Camel Lot! We want to give a huge shout out to Mrs. Metzler and all the students for a job well done!
Tonight in the gym our 3rd and 4th graders perform their Christmas program! Doors open at 6pm!
