Westview Warrior Legacy Walk 2019. These seniors represent some of the hopes and dreams of our current students, and the pride and joy of parents and staff. It is a meaningful experience to applaud and “high five” their accomplishments. Congratulations, seniors!
Third graders from Meadowview hunted for clues to Shipshewana's past during our Mayfest celebration field trip. Their tie-dyed tee shirts were a colorful splash and could be seen as students were reading signs and looking for their next clues. They found the artwork done by Mrs. Willard’s class, and saw Meadowview’s artists in the parade with Miss Wilson. This was a fun way to learn about the history of our community and celebrate May!
MES first graders enjoyed learning more about our community on their field trip today! Thank you to Blue Gate Restaurant, E&S Sales, Interra Credit Union, Country Road store, and Ben’s pretzels for teaching the students about the goods and services you provide!
Second grade students did "surgery" on various texts looking for features that would "cure" a problem.
Did you know that the tulips and daffodils around our school were planted by third graders? This landscaping project began in 2002 in celebration of Miss Rumphius Day, a fictional character who wanted to make the world more beautiful by sowing lupine seeds around her town. Every fall the current third graders plant and replant the bulbs. Thank you, third graders and teachers, the blooms are beautiful.
