The students of Westview Elementary have been busy! Last week they collected over 69,000 aluminum cans! A local facility will recycle the cans, and the proceeds, over $1500, will be donated to Riley Hospital for Children.
Mrs. Suzie Sheets’s class brought in the most cans this year, with a total of 14,975. To reward students for their hard work, a school-wide drawing was held for a pizza party at each grade level. The Westview Elementary PTO will provide a pizza party for Mrs. Sheets’s 5th-grade class and Mrs. Gongwer’s 6th-grade class. Good Job Westview Elementary!
