Spirit days to celebrate our state bound basketball team!
Last Friday was "Future Occupation Day" at Topeka! There were so many aspiring teachers, athletes, military members, and more!
4th graders created their own decimal games during Math lab these past few weeks! We had variations of BINGO, board games, card games and even a few basketball themed games. Nice work 4th graders!
4th grade Rise n' Roll donuts were delivered today! If you purchased from a 4th grader, they will be coming your way soon!
Ms. Bolton's class created leprechaun traps for St. Patrick's Day! His little footprints were found all over the classroom 🤫

Topeka bears were seeing double today-- it was twin day!
4th grade traveled to the Air Zoo Museum to learn about flight, space and all things related to air travel! They also got to attend the "Young Aviators" class where they learned about the forces of airplanes and built their own to fly!
As spring and summer storms approach, it's always good to have a plan! This will be happening tomorrow!

Our final results were in-- after a tight finish, Germany won first place! Congratulations to all teams and participants! Thank you so much to Miss Eash for her creativity and dedication for making this such a memorable event for our students!

Curling was the next event Topeka Bears practiced last week in Gym for their Winter Olympics event!
Studies have demonstrated that a healthy breakfast can enhance cognitive function. When students eat a balanced meal in the morning, they enjoy improved memory, better concentration, and a greater ability to absorb and retain information. This is especially vital during test-taking times, where mental clarity and quick recall can significantly impact performance. Moreover, children who have eaten a wholesome breakfast are better equipped to handle classroom challenges. They exhibit fewer behavioral problems, allowing for a more conducive learning environment for themselves and their peers.
4th grade enjoyed their ice cream on Friday to celebrate winning the Pennies for Patients contest!
