Create a chalk obstacle course today! It is a terrific Tuesday to get outside.
All you need is chalk and some vision. Use some of these ideas: jump like a bunny x 3, walk on your hands and feet, jump on one foot, jump on the opposite foot, twirl x 2, jump up and try touch the sky x 4. See what fun ideas you can come up with.
Pictures from today. The day included buses and cars lined up for pickup and drop off. Assistants collecting books and giving packets. Topeka hallway lined with boxes full of returned library books. Next week, Monday, we will do it again.
It was so good to see so many students and families today. It was a very successful day of packet/meal deliveries. Thank you to everyone who helped!
How about perfecting those jump rope skills? #MovingMondays
What does "Learning Uniquely at Home" look like? It is teachers, staff, bus drivers, and many other Westview employees working together. Teachers have worked together, remotely, to come up with learning experiences for our students. Those learning experiences, library books, and much more have been bundled up and are ready for delivery on Monday morning. It is staff making contact with students on a weekly basis to check in and ensure needs are met. #wearewestview #topekastrong #topekabears
FUN Friday. See how many of these tongue twisters you can do.
At-home learning packets are coming Monday. Buses will deliver on 2 hour delay schedule for regular riders. Pickup times for walkers and non-bus riders will be 8:30 to 10:30 AM at the K to 4 buildings and 8:30 to 11:30 AM for grades 6 to 8. High school will utilize E-learning.
